Requirements
- At least 8 years of commercial Java development experience.
- At least 2 years in a Tech Lead, Solution Architect, or comparable technical leadership position.
- Practical telecommunications-sector experience; ISP, BSS/OSS, broadband, order management, product catalogues, or service qualification experience is preferred.
- Strong hands-on Java and Spring Boot experience building production-grade backend services and complex integrations.
- At least 3–4 years of practical React/ReactJS and TypeScript experience.
- Experience designing microservices-based, integration-heavy systems and knowledge of DDD, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and scalable application design.
- Experience designing REST APIs and OpenAPI-based contracts, integrating external systems, and implementing retries, idempotency, asynchronous processing, and transactional messaging.
- Familiarity with TM Forum Open APIs is required.
- Hands-on experience with Camunda, Flowable, or a comparable workflow or business-process orchestration engine.
- Practical knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, Spring Security, and RBAC.
- Experience with AWS and containerized environments, including Docker and Kubernetes, and exposure to Amazon EKS or ECS and modern CI/CD practices.
- Ability to mentor developers, coordinate technical planning, conduct code reviews, make architectural decisions, and guide a team toward delivery.

- Familiarity with AI-powered coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the architecture for a telecommunications customer portal and integration platform in the BSS/OSS domain.
- Assess requirements and technical options, identify dependencies, and establish the implementation strategy and architectural foundations for the MVP.
- Design domain models, REST APIs, integration flows, microservices, and event-driven components using DDD and other stated architectural principles.
- Write and maintain production-quality Java and Spring Boot code, focusing on complex components and critical integrations.
- Guide and mentor three full-stack Java developers through technical planning, implementation, problem-solving, and delivery.
- Conduct code reviews, define coding conventions and quality gates, and promote maintainable, reliable, and secure development practices.
- Shape the React and TypeScript application architecture, establish UI standards, review frontend code, and contribute to implementation when needed.
- Design integrations with external services, third-party APIs, and legacy systems using patterns including idempotency, retries, asynchronous processing, and Transactional Outbox.
- Guide authentication, authorization, access control, and workflow orchestration design using the stated security technologies and patterns.
- Collaborate with DevOps and QA on AWS environments, CI/CD, testing, deployments, architectural decision records, C4 diagrams, and regular live demos.
