Requirements
- Know Python and Django, or an equivalent web framework.
- Have experience with domain modeling and architectural design.
- Know GraphQL.
- Be able to write robust, fault-tolerant software.
- Have experience with Celery and asynchronous processing.
- Have experience with PostgreSQL.
- AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes experience are bonuses.
- Experience with one or more frontend frameworks is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Build robust, fault-tolerant software using Python, Django, GraphQL, Celery, and PostgreSQL.
- Apply architectural knowledge and domain modeling to solve complex challenges.
- Drive large milestones, including their direction and cadence, while managing technical trade-offs and target dates.
- Connect the team with related teams on cross-functional projects and identify critical points across domains.
- Communicate technical points and risks clearly to stakeholders with varying levels of technical literacy.
- Set standards through code and actions, and ensure features and rollouts are thoroughly documented.
- Sponsor and mentor engineers to help them grow and meet promotion standards.
