Requirements
- At least four years of professional experience in manual and automated software testing.
- Hands-on experience in the iGaming industry, such as online slots, bonuses, sportsbook products, or payment systems.
- Practical experience developing automated tests using TypeScript and Playwright.
- Experience with API testing and automation, including tools such as Postman.
- Experience with test management platforms such as TestRail or Zephyr.
- Working knowledge of Docker and the ability to run and configure services locally for testing.
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, software testing principles, and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Good conversational English skills for communicating with distributed engineering teams.
- Willingness to perform manual testing as well as exploratory testing and automation.
- Familiarity with Go or the ability to read and understand Go code is an advantage.
- Basic SQL knowledge and ability to query relational databases are desirable.
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders is a plus.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, observability tools, and monitoring practices is beneficial.
- Understanding of microservices architectures and distributed backend systems is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, specifications, and user stories to design test cases, scenarios, and validation strategies.
- Test transaction lifecycles from initiation through authorization, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Explore the system to identify edge cases, unexpected behavior, risks, and defects.
- Develop and maintain automated regression test suites using TypeScript and Playwright.
- Automate API testing and validate REST and gRPC endpoints using tools such as Postman or grpcurl.
- Test event-driven and message-based workflows, including retries, duplicate messages, and failure scenarios.
- Execute regression testing after deployments using automated and manual tests.
- Document and track defects in Jira with reproduction steps, request payloads, service logs, and evidence.
- Use SQL queries and database checks to validate data consistency across backend services.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to investigate defects, verify fixes, and improve QA processes.
