Requirements

Have at least 10 years of software development experience, including work as a Software Architect, Solution Architect, IT Architect, or in a similar role.
Have practical experience designing, implementing, and developing transaction systems in banking.
Have experience integrating banking systems, including IAM, SSO, RBAC, payment systems, interbank integrations, SWIFT MX/MT, or AML solutions.
Have expert-level knowledge of a programming language such as Java.
Have practical experience designing distributed, microservices, and modular architectures.
Have experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
Have knowledge of SOAP and XML integrations.
Have experience with asynchronous communication and event-processing platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Have very good knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
Have experience designing solutions using S3-compatible object storage.
Have practical experience with containerization and container-based environments.
Know CI/CD processes and tools, and design and architectural patterns.
Be able to design for scalability, high availability, security, reliability, and performance.
Have experience analyzing and optimizing existing system architecture, including performance issues, technical debt, and modernization opportunities.
Have experience designing or building AI solutions, preparing architecture documentation, defining technical standards, and presenting technical decisions to development, business, security, and infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities

Design architecture for new and evolving transaction systems.
Define integrations between banking systems and external systems.
Optimize and modernize existing solution architectures.
Design integration solutions, APIs, and synchronous and asynchronous communications.
Define standards for security, authorization, IAM, and system integration.
Work with development teams on key technology decisions.
Assess potential uses of AI and Generative AI in new and existing solutions.
Design secure and scalable ways to integrate AI components with enterprise systems.
Maintain architectural consistency, technical quality, and alignment with organizational standards.
Prepare architecture documentation and present technical recommendations to stakeholders.
