Requirements
- 8+ years of architecture or engineering experience in mobile applications.
- Expertise in enterprise-scale mobile architecture and iOS-first delivery.
- Proficiency in React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience designing secure authentication flows with Okta or similar identity providers.
- Background integrating headless CMS platforms such as Contentstack and designing content delivery architectures.
- Experience architecting personalization engines and dynamic content strategies.
- Understanding of iOS and Android platform differences, constraints, and native module integration.
- Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and scalable backend architectures.
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for mobile release management.
- Understanding of enterprise security, performance, scalability, and maintainability principles.
- Experience as a Solution Architect, Lead Architect, or Principal Engineer for mobile app initiatives, with mentorship and technical leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end mobile architecture and technical strategy across iOS for the first release and Android to follow.
- Define engineering standards, design patterns, and architectural guidelines for the mobile team.
- Design scalability, security, and integration approaches, including authentication, CMS, and personalization features.
- Lead technical decision-making processes and conduct architecture reviews.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Define technical roadmaps and align architecture decisions with business goals.
- Evaluate and select tools, libraries, and frameworks to support long-term scalability.
- Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices and architectural standards.
- Produce architecture diagrams, integration flows, and technical documentation.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and technical debt, and support CI/CD strategy and mobile release management.
