Job Details

Have 5+ years of commercial experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
Have strong knowledge of relational databases, such as PostgreSQL.
Have practical experience with non-relational databases, caching, and message brokers.
Have experience with client communication technologies such as REST API or WebSockets.
Have experience with authentication methods such as JWT, cookie-based authentication, or OAuth.
Have experience with CI/CD, deployment tools, Docker, and Git.
Have practical knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles.
Have experience writing and maintaining automated tests with RSpec or similar frameworks.
Be able to contribute to architecture based on business, functional, and non-functional requirements, with an understanding of scalability.
Use AI tools daily and critically review AI-generated code.
Be fluent in English and confident speaking directly with clients during calls, demos, or technical discussions.
Be fluent in Polish.

Design and build web applications in Ruby on Rails, including relational database design.
Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write automated tests covering edge cases and overall reliability.
Fix bugs and improve performance.
Review code, including AI-generated code, for correctness, security, and maintainability.
Help define and improve internal maintainability and style standards.
Clarify requirements, discuss technical solutions, and present work directly to the client when needed.
Test new tools and workflows and share what works with the team.
