Job Details

Have 5+ years of commercial experience with Ruby.
Have strong, hands-on production experience with Ruby on Rails, including recent versions Rails 7/8.
Have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ideally running Rails applications on it.
Have solid knowledge of relational databases and SQL, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Have experience writing automated tests with RSpec or Minitest.
Bring a proactive, ownership-driven approach and the ability to work autonomously.
Have upper-intermediate English or higher.

Design, build, and maintain features in a Rails 8.1 application serving customer traffic.
Own key areas of the platform from design through production.
Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical planning with the team.
Improve platform reliability, performance, and maintainability, including refactoring legacy parts where useful.
Support deployments, monitoring, and production troubleshooting across current environments.
Build and maintain integrations with third-party travel suppliers and internal services.
Promote automated testing, CI/CD, clear documentation, and sensible upgrade paths.
Partner with product and business stakeholders to turn requirements into well-scoped technical solutions.
