Job Details

Have 3+ years of commercial experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
Have strong knowledge of relational databases, such as PostgreSQL.
Have practical experience with non-relational databases, caching, and message brokers.
Have experience with client communication, such as REST API or WebSockets, and authentication methods such as JWT, cookie-based authentication, or OAuth.
Have experience with CI/CD, deployment tools, Docker, and Git.
Have practical knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles.
Have experience writing and maintaining automated tests with RSpec or similar frameworks.
Be able to contribute to architecture based on business, functional, and non-functional requirements, with an understanding of scalability.
Use AI tools daily and critically review AI-generated code.
Be fluent in English and confident speaking directly with clients during calls, demos, or technical discussions.
Be fluent in Polish, the main language of internal communication.
Be interested in HealthTech and projects where quality, security, and compliance matter.

Design and build web applications in Ruby on Rails, including relational database design.
Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write automated tests that cover edge cases and overall reliability.
Fix bugs and improve performance.
Review code, whether written by a person or AI.
Help define and improve internal standards for maintainability and style.
Talk directly with the client when needed to clarify requirements, discuss technical solutions, and present work.
Test new tools and workflows, and share what works with the team.
