Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in enterprise networking, engineering, automation, or solution architecture.
- Demonstrated delivery of technical solutions across architecture, implementation, validation, and operational handover.
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies, VLAN design, network segmentation, network security fundamentals, and connectivity design.
- Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, REST APIs, JSON, YAML, Git or other version-control systems, scripting, and automation frameworks.
- Experience developing and reviewing HLDs and LLDs, defining solution architectures, and establishing engineering standards.
- Familiarity with validation and testing practices and technical governance processes.
- Understanding of enterprise cloud connectivity, hybrid architectures, and integration across network, application, and cloud environments.
- Experience developing reusable templates, standardized deployment methodologies, implementation playbooks, and repeatable production processes.
- Bachelor's or master's degree.
- Preferred certifications include Cisco CCNP or CCIE, Cisco DevNet, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud certifications, automation or DevOps certifications, and TOGAF.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for scalability, security, supportability, and operational readiness.
- Establish engineering standards, design guidelines, and reference architectures, and participate in governance forums and design reviews.
- Review enterprise connectivity architectures and support network security integration and cloud connectivity planning.
- Identify workflow automation opportunities and develop Python scripts, REST API integrations, reusable templates, frameworks, and engineering accelerators.
- Convert individual solutions and pilot implementations into repeatable production models, deployment methodologies, and implementation playbooks.
- Support solution testing, validation, pilot deployments, and first implementations; investigate challenges and recommend remediation.
- Contribute to hybrid architecture and integration across enterprise networks, applications, security platforms, and cloud environments.
- Create architecture documentation, engineering specifications, deployment guides, and operational procedures, and conduct technical walkthroughs and knowledge-transfer workshops.
- Gather requirements, facilitate technical discussions, and collaborate across architecture, engineering, implementation, and operations teams.
