Requirements
- Strong full-stack or cloud-native engineering experience, with a track record of shipping software.
- Experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders and translating their problems into technical solutions.
- Solid grounding in at least one modern backend stack and one frontend stack.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with APIs, data integration, and automation.
- Well-founded knowledge of agentic engineering, including agent planning, tool use, context management, orchestration, and evaluation, applied to real work.
- Ability to communicate technical trade-offs to client stakeholders without jargon.
- Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Willingness to travel to client sites.
- Experience in an agency, consultancy, or client-facing technical role is a plus.
- Familiarity with UX research or design collaboration workflows is a plus.
- Exposure to enterprise integration patterns or legacy system modernization is a plus.
- Hands-on experience building or deploying agentic systems for a client is a plus.
- A relevant degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Embed with client teams to observe workflows, diagnose bottlenecks, and identify opportunities for custom software.
- Prototype and deploy internal tools, integrations, automations, and data pipelines in client environments.
- Translate real-world requirements into working code, including when briefs are not fully specified.
- Build, deploy, gather feedback from users, and iterate on solutions.
- Apply agentic engineering practices to workflows, automations, and integrations where useful to the client.
- Work with UX, consulting, and cloud-native engineering teams to transition prototypes into production systems.
- Navigate client infrastructure, security constraints, cloud platforms, APIs, and existing systems.
- Advise clients on technical options and explain and defend architecture decisions.
- Travel to client sites as needed.
