Requirements
- Polish at C1 level.
- English at minimum B2 level; senior candidates need English at minimum C1.
- Knowledge of testing fundamentals and how to determine what to test and why.
- REST API testing experience.
- Working knowledge of HTTP, HTML, and CSS.
- Programming experience; JavaScript, Java, or Kotlin preferred.
- Experience with an automation framework such as Playwright, Appium, or RestAssured.
- Ability to configure autonomous testing tools, integrate them with CI, and run pipelines against builds.
- Regular hands-on use of autonomous testing tools alongside Claude, Codex, or Cursor.
- For more senior candidates: several years testing products used by real users, including substantial automation experience.
- For more senior candidates: ability to establish testing strategy, repositories, frameworks, and CI from scratch and explain trade-offs.
- For more senior candidates: automation leadership, quality metrics ownership, mentoring, and direct client-facing quality work.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated test suites for API, web, and mobile products.
- Evaluate new AI testing tools and assess how they can be used in testing.
- Decide what is worth testing and assess whether products can be trusted.
- Work with engineers, the product manager, and clients on testing and product quality.
- Configure autonomous testing tools, connect them to CI, and run pipelines against real builds.
- Use AI tools to generate, run, and maintain tests.
- For senior-level work, establish testing strategy, repositories, frameworks, and CI from scratch.
- For senior-level work, lead automation, review code, and unblock other QA team members.
- For senior-level work, track quality metrics, mentor QA team members, and represent quality to clients.
