Requirements

  • Bring an experienced brand marketing background.
  • Have experience building brand frameworks and translating brand strategy into execution.
  • Demonstrate experience developing and executing go-to-market campaigns across multiple marketing disciplines and channels.
  • Have experience in the games industry, such as with a publisher, developer or specialist agency.
  • Bring a strong personal passion for games and knowledge of the gaming landscape.
  • Have a track record of managing multiple projects and priorities and delivering high-quality work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and creative instincts across brand vision and campaign execution.
  • Bring strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder-management and influencing skills.
  • Be comfortable interpreting performance data and using insights to make decisions.
  • Have demonstrable success launching and supporting live service games.
  • Bonus: experience with external development studios or publisher-developer relationships, player research methodologies and insight tools, or creative agency and production relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop player audience knowledge through research and insights, and use it to inform development and marketing.
  • Build brand strategies for each product, including positioning, brand frameworks, tone of voice and visual identity.
  • Identify product truths, USPs and positioning that distinguish titles from competitors.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies spanning pre-launch, launch and live operations.
  • Build integrated campaign plans with social media, influencer, PR, community, lifecycle and paid media specialists.
  • Lead campaign kick-off meetings and align stakeholders on objectives, messaging and timing.
  • Brief, create and approve marketing assets with internal creative teams and external agencies.
  • Manage title marketing budgets, track spending and allocate resources effectively.
  • Monitor campaign performance against KPIs and use insights to optimize activity and future strategies.
  • Build relationships with developers and internal teams, and conduct competitive analysis and post-campaign reviews.
