Requirements

  • Have 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
  • Have strong hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, and S3.
  • Have production experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL, including multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica lag monitoring.
  • Have experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Have experience with Docker and ECS/Fargate.
  • Have experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Have experience with deployment automation, tested rollback paths, and rollback drills.
  • Have experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling such as OpenTelemetry or CloudWatch.
  • Have experience with load testing using k6 or similar, and operating services against latency SLOs and error budgets.
  • Have experience with vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance or hardening practices.
  • Have experience supporting SOC 2 or similar audit evidence and client security reviews.
  • Have experience with incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree and be able to overlap US business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Operate AWS services including ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, and S3.
  • Support production Aurora/PostgreSQL, including multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica lag monitoring.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, including tested rollback paths and rollback drills.
  • Monitor services using observability tooling such as OpenTelemetry and CloudWatch.
