Requirements
- Have strong coding fundamentals in Node.js and TypeScript, Python, and/or Go.
- Understand distributed systems, scalability challenges, and system design.
- Be familiar with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
- Be familiar with Kubernetes, APIs, and NoSQL databases.
- Reason about trade-offs and balance speed with reliability under pressure.
- Maintain an active GitHub with substantive projects.
- Identify problems proactively and drive solutions independently.
- Favor simple solutions to complex problems.
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Explain a clear motivation for joining a startup and working in this space.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and run projects in production.
- Develop human-in-the-loop platforms, fraud detection systems, data infrastructure, and operational workflows.
- Solve scalability and reliability problems.
- Work directly with research, product, and design to ship work while maintaining quality.
- Contribute to the systems used across the company.
