Requirements
- Have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience working with Java programming.
- Demonstrate high proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Know Java design patterns and reusable Java libraries.
- Be familiar with MVC, JDBC, JSP, SOAP, and RESTful concepts.
- Know Java UI concepts such as applets and frameworks including Swing, SWT, and AWT.
- Know testing tools such as JUnit, TestNG, Spock, and Mockito.
- Have experience working with external and embedded databases.
- Have communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Java-based applications and websites.
- Contribute to software and architectural development activities.
- Develop well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
- Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reported issues and respond to queries.
- Prepare and produce releases of software components.
- Produce detailed design documentation.
- Improve code quality by implementing best practices.
- Recommend changes to improve established Java application processes.
