Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Have five or more years of Guidewire development experience.
- Bring deep expertise in Gosu programming and the Guidewire data model.
- Have hands-on experience customizing PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
- Have a strong understanding of product model and rule design.
- Have experience building Guidewire integrations, including messaging, batch, or plugin integrations.
- Be familiar with Guidewire Cloud Platform.
- Have strong SQL skills and understand the Guidewire database schema.
- Bring strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Guidewire ACE certifications are preferred.
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud upgrades is preferred.
- Familiarity with Guidewire Digital portals or DataHub/InfoCenter is preferred.
- Insurance domain expertise across P&C lines is preferred.
- Experience with reinsurance, policy administration, or claims modernization programs is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Configure, integrate, and customize Guidewire InsuranceSuite products, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Develop hands-on solutions using Gosu.
- Design Guidewire integrations, including messaging, batch, and plugin integrations.
- Configure product models and design rules.
- Support Guidewire Cloud upgrades.
- Translate requirements with business analysts, SMEs, and cross-functional stakeholders into engineered solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and design reviews.
- Mentor more junior engineers.
