Requirements
- Have 6+ years of professional experience.
- Bring strong diagnostic skills for testing software and measuring product quality.
- Have a technical background sufficient to create testing scenarios from functional requirements and detailed specifications.
- Have experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
- Have experience writing SQL queries.
- Have experience with QA testing on ERP applications or systems.
- A thorough understanding of administrative software for higher education is a plus.
- Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents and provide timely feedback.
- Develop test plans and scenarios based on functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities within a cross-functional development team.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and automation scripts using provided tools.
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs, and maintain accurate bug backlogs.
- Perform regression, exploratory, and system testing as required.
- Verify fixes and plan and execute testing activities to help ensure successful releases.
- Use AI-enabled tools and analytics when appropriate, with attention to accuracy, data privacy, and human oversight.
