Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Have 5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing localization.
- Have at least 2+ years of experience as a Language Lead or LQA Specialist.
- Be currently based in Slovakia.
- Have proven experience working with Slovak-language content.
- Have deep proficiency in translation management systems and CAT tools, such as Trados Studio, Phrase, or memoQ.
- Have proficiency with automated quality assurance tools, such as Xbench.
- Have communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Be able to manage concurrent pipelines and tight release schedules.
Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and maintain quality standards for English-to-Slovak localization streams.
- Audit deliverables and manage the linguistic feedback loop.
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate freelance translators, editors, and LQA testers.
- Provide linguistic feedback, onboarding training, and query resolution.
- Partner with Project Managers, Engineering teams, and client stakeholders to optimize localization workflows.
- Mitigate risks and troubleshoot technical or linguistic challenges.
- Monitor and analyze resource performance and linguistic quality metrics.
- Report on project delivery timelines.
