Job Details

Requirements

  • Hold an active, unrestricted mental health license in California and the state of primary residence.
  • Be trained and/or certified in evidence-based trauma modalities.
  • Be comfortable working in a remote environment.
  • Have access to a quiet, dedicated workspace and reliable internet connectivity.
  • Be able to sit for extended periods during working hours.
  • Have manual dexterity for using a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • Have adequate vision for reading computer screens and documents.
  • Have sufficient hearing to participate in phone calls or virtual meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling and therapy to patients remotely through telemedicine.
  • Use evidence-based practices to meet patients’ clinical needs.
  • Implement treatment modalities in individual and group therapy settings and engage patients in their treatment plans.
  • Review and sign patient psychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and consents as needed.
  • Maintain clinic records and document services and patient activities in accordance with clinical, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct crisis intervention for individuals and families based on individual safety plans.
  • Participate in case planning with the multidisciplinary team as new information is gathered.
  • Participate in individual and group supervision and ongoing education and competency activities.
  • Provide case management services to promote recovery and community reintegration as needed.
