Requirements
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect, gained within the last 5 years.
- Have experience managing and automating cloud environments.
- Have experience with automated provisioning and maintenance of cloud resources.
- Have hands-on experience building solutions using Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud or an equivalent cloud platform.
- Have expert knowledge of data centre transformation, including assessment of existing solutions, target architecture design, and migration planning and execution.
- Know current cloud technologies, solution models and products used in cloud data centres.
- Know cloud service delivery models, particularly IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
- Know solutions and products used in private cloud environments.
- Understand application architecture and system components, including hardware, operating systems, middleware and databases.
- Nice to have: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) certification or equivalent.
- Nice to have: knowledge of cloud automation and integration of DevOps and CI/CD solutions.
- Nice to have: experience monitoring cloud applications, including costs.
- Nice to have: English proficiency sufficient to understand complex technical documentation.
- Nice to have: documented architectural experience building AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop technology standards based on analysis of current environment usage and organisational needs.
- Design a private cloud implementation model.
- Develop a catalogue of provided services and design a customer portal.
- Define a service accountability and cost allocation model.
- Design and develop cloud solutions.
- Plan and deliver migrations to target environments.
- Automate the provisioning, deployment and maintenance of cloud resources.
- Support data centre transformation initiatives.
