Requirements

  • Bring hands-on DevOps or platform engineering experience with Terraform on Azure, including networking, private endpoints, RBAC, and managed identities.
  • Have experience with GitHub Actions CI/CD, including OIDC, reusable workflows, and release pipelines.
  • Have strong Python and PowerShell skills for automation and tooling.
  • Have practical experience designing and building AI agents and agentic workflows, including prompt and context engineering, tool calling, custom skills and instructions, and integrations.
  • Use GitHub Copilot daily, including agent mode, custom agents, and instructions.
  • Understand risks of running agents against infrastructure code, including permissions, prompt injection, human approval, and auditability.
  • Communicate fluently in English and collaborate across international teams.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus.
  • Experience with GitHub Agentic Workflows (gh-aw) or comparable frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience building or operating MCP servers is a plus.
  • Terraform testing, state management, and drift handling are nice to have.
  • Databricks infrastructure experience, including Unity Catalog, workspace and metastore provisioning, and networking, is nice to have.
  • Experience evaluating and monitoring agent quality and cost is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve secure Azure infrastructure for an Internal Developer Platform using Terraform, including networking, private endpoints, RBAC, and managed identities.
  • Design and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, including OIDC authentication, reusable workflows, and release pipelines.
  • Support migration of pipelines from Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions.
  • Design and build AI agents and agentic workflows to automate infrastructure and platform tasks.
  • Develop custom agent skills, instructions, tools, and integrations.
  • Implement safeguards for agents working on infrastructure code, including least-privilege permissions, prompt injection protection, human approval, and auditability.
  • Automate operational processes and build internal tooling with Python and PowerShell.
  • Use GitHub Copilot agent mode, custom agents, and instructions to support infrastructure code work.
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to documentation and best practices.
  • Share knowledge about AI tooling and agentic patterns.
