Requirements

Have 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience.
Be a native French speaker with excellent written French and a strong understanding of French search behavior and cultural nuances.
Have professional working proficiency in English.
Show a proven track record of improving organic search rankings and driving website traffic.
Have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Have excellent writing skills and the ability to organize and present information in writing and verbally.
Know on-page and off-page ranking factors.
Be familiar with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog or other crawling tools.
Preferred: experience with international SEO and French content localization, SEO reporting, dashboards and performance analysis.
Preferred: familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization, AI Overviews or AI-powered search platforms, and an understanding of technical SEO.
Preferred: basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Python and CSS as they relate to SEO, and familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems.
Preferred: cybersecurity industry knowledge and experience with conversion rate optimization.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end SEO/GEO workflow, from identifying content and optimization opportunities through research, briefs, implementation, tracking, reporting and audits.
Optimize and localize content for international audiences, with primary ownership of the French market.
Support development and execution of the SEO/GEO strategy for the French market.
Optimize blog articles, product pages, landing pages, glossary pages and other website content.
Contribute to GEO efforts by optimizing content for visibility in AI-powered answers.
Work with Development, Product and Design teams to document SEO requirements, follow up on implementation and validate completed changes.
Track, analyze and report website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEO/GEO industry tools.
Manage the EMEA SEO/GEO content calendar for blogs.
Collaborate with the global SEO/GEO team and cross-functional marketing, design and development teams.
Stay current on SEO/GEO trends and algorithm updates, and test and refine strategies.
