Job Details

Have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial native Android development experience.
Bring strong experience with Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack, Android lifecycle, concurrency, and API integration.
Have experience building, shipping, and maintaining production Android applications.
Have strong automated testing experience.
Be able to troubleshoot mobile applications across different devices, networks, and performance conditions.
Understand mobile security, accessibility, CI/CD, and application release processes.
Bring strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Work independently and collaborate with Product, Design, QA, backend, and iOS teams.
Have experience mentoring engineers or providing technical guidance.
Independently design, write, debug, test, and maintain production-quality software.
Use coding assistants and AI agents effectively, and review and validate AI-generated code.

Own Android features from technical design through implementation, testing, release, and production monitoring.
Build intuitive and accessible mobile interfaces for creators and users.
Develop resilient integrations across APIs, authentication, caching, and background processing.
Contribute to Android architecture and technical decisions that improve scalability and maintainability.
Diagnose and resolve crashes, performance issues, memory problems, device-specific behavior, and network-related issues.
Monitor production performance and improve application stability, release quality, and user experience.
Participate in the production-support rotation and own issues through resolution.
Strengthen automated test coverage for critical Android user journeys and participate in code reviews.
Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
