Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in technical project or delivery management.
- Demonstrate experience building trust with senior business stakeholders in a client-facing or consulting setting.
- Have experience running Agile delivery and managing backlogs, roadmaps, and status reporting for a technical team.
- Have working knowledge of data and analytics concepts, such as data pipelines, reporting, and dashboards, sufficient to plan work and question estimates.
- Have very strong written and verbal English for daily collaboration with client stakeholders.
- Nice to have: prior consulting experience or experience embedded in client teams through staff augmentation.
- Nice to have: experience managing data or data platform teams, or working with data strategy, governance, or BI initiatives.
- Nice to have: a project management or Agile certification such as PMP or CSM.
- Nice to have: experience in retail, e-commerce, or manufacturing environments.
- Nice to have: experience managing delivery for distributed teams across time zones.
Responsibilities
- Own delivery planning and execution for the client's data strategy and analytics team, including scope, roadmap, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
- Translate client business priorities into a prioritized backlog and clear team work, keeping priorities aligned as they change.
- Build trust with client leaders through clear communication, early and honest risk reporting, and reliable follow-through.
- Run planning, review, and retrospective ceremonies and provide regular status updates to the client and Pyyne.
- Identify blockers and cross-team dependencies early, escalating them with options and a recommendation.
- Manage scope, expectations, and change requests with business and technical stakeholders.
- Represent Pyyne in client meetings and surface opportunities to expand the engagement.
