SalaryThe base salary range for candidates within the United States is listed below. United States Pay Range $170,000 — $250,000 USD. Regular employees may also be eligible for bonus(es), sales incentive(s) (target included in OTE) and/or stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Requirements
- Have 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or operations.
- Have 5+ years of experience leading teams, ideally through team leads or managers.
- Bring deep technical fluency across Linux, Kubernetes, and open-source tooling.
- Bring experience with cloud infrastructure and environments.
- Have knowledge of data center operations, networking, storage, observability, and network security.
- Have a track record of owning capital and operating budgets.
- Have experience managing vendors and negotiating contracts.
- Experience leading a merger integration, organizational consolidation, or other significant structural change is highly valued.
- Experience in telecom, VoIP, or other carrier-grade or high-availability service environments is strongly preferred.
- A demonstrated track record of measurable infrastructure cost optimization is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and run a distributed infrastructure organization of approximately 12 engineers, driving operational excellence, reliability, and accountability.
- Manage capital and operating budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations while identifying opportunities to reduce costs.
- Set technical direction across data centers, cloud environments, Linux, Kubernetes, networking, storage, observability, and network security.
- Build and maintain hardware platforms for sibling teams within Network Operations.
- Collaborate with Product and Development teams to define, architect, and document infrastructure solutions for upcoming products and services.
- Establish and develop team leads and evolve the team structure toward functional domains.
- Partner with Security and organizational leadership to define and implement infrastructure security policies and standards, including patch and operating system upgrade cadences.
- Create strategic plans, roadmaps, and executive presentations connecting infrastructure investment to business outcomes.
- Own the 24/7/365 on-call escalation path and develop an escalation model and on-call program.
- Champion automation, standardization, and modern infrastructure practices, and explore thoughtful uses of AI in infrastructure operations and engineering.
