Requirements
- Experience building complex web applications with TypeScript and modern UI frameworks, including React or similar technologies.
- Understanding of state management, GraphQL and Apollo, component-scoped styling, and reusable component-library design.
- Experience building tools or platforms for internal users.
- Comfort working across frontend and backend systems, including reading or modifying Java services.
- Experience working with API contracts such as gRPC, Protobuf, or REST.
- Ability to work with Scala or Python when pipelines or APIs need attention.
- Ability to navigate cloud infrastructure and data tools such as GCP, GKE, BigQuery, or GCS.
- Ability to weigh technical debt and communicate tradeoffs between maintaining, improving, and migrating systems.
- Experience working across shared codebases and collaborating when teams depend on common components and services.
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve Quicksilver UI for authoring, previewing, and delivering in-app messages, emails, and push notifications.
- Own frontend features from component design and implementation in React and TypeScript through server-side creative rendering.
- Debug Java and Apollo services and evolve gRPC, Protobuf, and REST API contracts.
- Trace data through BigQuery and improve pipeline output.
- Support localization workflows and reliable creative rendering across locales.
- Help enable smooth launches in new markets.
- Partner with product and design to shape features around operator needs.
- Improve testing infrastructure, build performance, component documentation, and integration tooling.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and the platform’s technical direction.
