Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience with Go, including CLI and HTTP service development.
- Be experienced with multi-step waves, concurrency, idempotent flows, and evidence or smoke outputs.
- Have expertise in Terraform using an approved CLI workflow, Terragrunt-style IAM/bootstrap, and kOps.
- Be proficient in Helmfile and Kubernetes day-2 operations.
- Have experience with multi-account AssumeRole.
- Have a background building reusable GitHub Actions workflows, runners, IRSA, and ECR image-sync wiring.
- Know OpenAPI-aligned automation APIs and decide-vs-execute patterns.
- Understand IaC change control, including plan, dual approve/sign, and apply workflows.
- Be able to prioritize across platform, backend, and media workstreams.
- Be familiar with daily AI coding assistants such as Cursor or Claude Code, and carefully review code and IaC.
- Communicate clearly in English for technical handoffs.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end install architecture and Go orchestration engine, including validation, actuation, and evidence generation.
- Lead and review platform work across Terraform, Terragrunt-style IAM/bootstrap, kOps, Helmfile, Kubernetes day-2 operations, and multi-account AssumeRole.
- Orchestrate blank-account delivery, including config contracts, rollback and teardown, and safe-stop mechanisms.
- Build the first healthy application pipeline with reusable GitHub Actions workflows, runners, IRSA, and ECR image-sync wiring.
- Design OpenAPI-aligned automation APIs and decide-vs-execute patterns.
- Prioritize work across platform, backend, and media domains.
- Follow production software engineering practices across repositories and runbooks.
- Use AI coding assistants such as Cursor or Claude Code, reviewing code and infrastructure as code carefully.
- Maintain the deploy path through GitHub Actions reusable workflows, self-hosted runners, and IRSA.
