Have strong experience as a Senior Software Engineer and a solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
Be able to operate independently on complex problems and ambiguous requirements.
Have strong knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js.
Have experience with React and Next.js.
Understand APIs, networking, databases, distributed systems, and security.
Have hands-on experience designing APIs, schemas, and service boundaries for scalable systems.
Have experience with relational and non-relational databases.
Be able to identify trade-offs and make sound product and technical decisions.
Have experience owning larger technical areas and influencing architecture beyond individual features.
Use coding agents as a core part of your daily development workflow.
Review diffs and test AI-generated code, including understanding its edge cases, before merging.
Be able to quickly move between technologies and programming languages when needed.
Have English proficiency at C1+ level.

Turn broad or ambiguous product requirements into simple, scalable technical solutions.
Own complex features, services, or product areas from design through production.
Drive architecture and design decisions covering APIs, schemas, service boundaries, failure modes, scalability, and cost.
Evaluate technical trade-offs and choose pragmatic solutions that balance product needs, engineering quality, and maintainability.
Use AI coding agents to plan, implement, test, and refactor solutions.
Break complex work into tasks that AI agents can execute and run multiple workstreams in parallel when appropriate.
Review and verify AI-generated code, including its edge cases, security implications, performance, and quality.
Maintain engineering and architectural standards across an AI-assisted codebase.
Debug production issues across services using telemetry and observability tools, and drive them to resolution.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, DevOps, and QA to shape solutions.
