Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in software development with data software engineering technologies.
- Have advanced knowledge of Python.
- Have extensive experience with Spark and Databricks.
- Have experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Have experience and confidence using AI development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
- Have experience managing small and mid-size teams using Agile methodology.
- Be able to explain technological solutions in a simple, business-oriented way.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Have exceptional oral and written communication skills in English at B2+ level.
- Agentic AI solution-building experience is a plus.
- Experience with Kafka or other message queues, large data transfer applications or middleware, and production search technologies such as Solr, OpenSearch, or Lucene is preferred; Scala or Java knowledge is also a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop analytical solutions using cloud-native, data, and NoSQL technologies.
- Develop cloud, on-premise, and hybrid solutions using data frameworks.
- Drive AI adoption.
- Work with product and engineering teams to evaluate requirements, features, and architecture.
- Build partnerships with architects, technical leads, and other functional groups.
- Analyze business problems and technical environments to design technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and test solutions against best practices.
- Build an engineering culture, mentor team members, and provide tools and motivation.
- Write project documentation.
