Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or 2-5 years of related business experience in operations or production services, preferably in financial services.
- Knowledge of handling discrepancies and resolving variances related to bank reconciliation items.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge, including formulas and pivot tables, is desired.
- Understanding of ACH, SWIFT, FX payments, and anti-money laundering (AML) protocols is desired.
- Familiarity with bank compliance processes is desired.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing transactions and identifying errors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple transactions at once.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Must be available to work a non-traditional work-week, including occasional nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Interact with security holders by email and phone to resolve user and account validation flags.
- Evaluate exception materials to resolve validation flags and fraud concerns.
- Prepare and send reports to bank partners for security holders who split payments while completing Clearinghouse.
- Complete daily bank reconciliation reports and identify remedies for exception items.
- Prepare monthly internal account reconciliation reports and complete fee sweeping for wire and check fees.
- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external customers and banking partners regarding delayed outgoing and incoming funds.
- Work with internal teams to process transfers of interest in a timely manner.
- Own individual transactions and answer questions from security holders and coworkers.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer experience, reduce operational risk, and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a flexible schedule based on deal speed and client needs, including evening or weekend hours when needed.
