Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of sales or customer service experience.
- Bring strong Microsoft Office Suite and general computer application skills.
- A four-year degree is preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in the IT industry is preferred.
- Be self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills for building business relationships.
- Have strong organizational and prioritization skills and attention to detail.
- Adapt to new technologies, products, and processes.
- Apply problem-solving skills and judgment to determine appropriate actions.
Responsibilities
- Research and quote product and service sales opportunities while meeting customer requirements and maintaining profit margins.
- Support project and run-rate business through quoting, ordering, open-order management, and post-order support.
- Coordinate with engineering on bill of materials design and validation.
- Assist with deal registration and pricing negotiations.
- Manage customer orders and use customer portals for proposals, purchase order confirmations, and shipping information.
- Resolve issues proactively with customers and suppliers.
- Build customer, vendor, and manufacturer relationships and identify opportunities to expand accounts.
- Provide customer and sales reporting as requested.
- Maintain working knowledge of key products, services, vendor programs, promotions, and campaigns.
