Requirements
- Have 6+ years of relevant analytical experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years of relevant analytical experience with a master’s degree.
- Hold a degree in a quantitative field such as Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering.
- Be proficient in SQL.
- Have knowledge of Python, R, or SAS.
- Have knowledge of Tableau, Sigma, or a similar business intelligence tool.
- Be proficient in forecasting models such as time series forecasting.
- Have experience in credit cards, loans, or other financial services.
- Bring strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Own product monitoring across credit risk, payments, usage, and other areas.
- Check loan and credit card performance metrics, including beginning balance, transactions, and ending balance.
- Build executive dashboards comparing actuals with forecasts and develop forecasting frameworks for portfolio metrics.
- Prepare and present executive materials, respond to complex inquiries from external investors and lenders, and support investor scenario testing.
- Conduct root-cause and remediation analysis with relevant business leaders.
- Simulate portfolio covenants for major risk strategy changes and establish monitoring for the corporate model.
- Collaborate with Capital Management, Risk, Finance, Core, Accounting, and other leaders on analysis and lender negotiation materials.
- Work with Engineering and Data Governance to establish reliable product tapes for partner use.
- Validate forecasts, explain variances, provide financial inputs, and reconcile General Ledger records with product tapes and payment flows.
