Requirements
- Experience as a classroom teacher, EL/ESL/ELL educator, tutor, coach, or in similar student support.
- Online instruction experience is preferred.
- A college degree is preferred.
- Have a laptop or desktop computer and webcam.
- Provide a clean, distraction-free environment.
- Have a reliable high-speed internet connection of at least 20 Mbps.
- Reside in and tutor from one of the listed states or Washington, DC.
- Be available for at least one hour Monday through Thursday within the 5:00 PM–7:00 PM ET window, where possible.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-designed, best-practice math lessons to provide targeted support for students.
- Tutor students in math and reading across grades K–8.
- Build meaningful professional connections with students.
- Create an encouraging and motivating learning environment.
- Provide supportive corrections during instruction.
- Attend at least 80% of sessions claimed.
