Requirements
- Be licensed to practice in one or more states where Journey Clinical operates: CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, or WI.
- Have DEA registration.
- Be comfortable prescribing controlled substances when medically appropriate.
- Be comfortable prescribing for anxiety and depression.
- Be able to synthesize medical and psychiatric information to formulate effective, evidence-based clinical recommendations.
- Be willing to use Slack, G Suite, and Zoom.
- Be comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake and follow-up consultations via telemedicine.
- Evaluate patient eligibility for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP).
- Prescribe treatment and monitor patient outcomes.
- Suggest treatment plan changes based on patient response to medication and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with Journey Clinical member psychotherapists.
- Work with a care coordinator to streamline workflows.
- Provide prompt, honest feedback on the care management system.
- Report to the Lead Clinician and collaborate with leadership and co-founders.
