Requirements
- Have experience in machine learning research, alignment research, or both.
- Be deeply interested in AI alignment and believe genuine progress is possible.
- Demonstrate excellent skills in Python, PyTorch, and the modern deep learning stack.
- Understand how to build, train, or evaluate deep learning models.
- Be comfortable calling AI model APIs via REST or client libraries.
- Be adept at decomposing complex problems into concrete, testable experiments.
- Be eager to use AI tools to automate workflow.
- Be adept in English and comfortable communicating technical work to all audiences.
Responsibilities
- Conduct alignment research and development.
- Work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Guide research direction alongside collaborators.
- Decompose complex problems into concrete, testable experiments.
- Use AI tools to automate workflow.
