- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the field of nutrition and at least one (1) year in oncology preferred.

Requirements
- Hold a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Services.
- Have at least three years of experience in the field of nutrition.
- Maintain dietetic/nutritionist licensure in the state of employment.
- Maintain Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics registration in the state of employment.
- At least one year of oncology experience is preferred.
- An advanced degree or training in nutrition is preferred.
- Office experience, including procedure entry, insurance, and medical terminology, is preferred.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, math and deduction skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Have data-entry skills and knowledge of Excel.
- CSO certification is preferred.
- Work a full-time Monday–Friday daytime schedule, with flexibility to meet patient and business needs.
- Travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ nutritional status and provide appropriate medical nutrition therapy and education.
- Provide disease-specific nutrition management throughout chemotherapy and assist with treatment side effects.
- Work with patients and families throughout treatment to explain their disease and nutrition plan.
- Document assessments and interventions in real time in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with oncologists and clinic staff to coordinate patient care.
