Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Have eight or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles.
- Bring deep expertise designing cloud-native solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
- Understand cloud networking, identity, and security primitives.
- Have experience with cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programs.
- Understand containerization, serverless, and managed data services.
- Have experience producing formal architecture artifacts and presenting them to senior leadership.
- Have a track record of leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering direction.
- Hold a cloud architecture certification from AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Multiple cloud architecture certifications, multi-cloud or hybrid cloud experience, TOGAF familiarity, regulated-industry cloud compliance exposure, and FinOps experience are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design cloud-native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security domains.
- Govern cloud architectures on a major cloud platform.
- Translate strategic objectives into pragmatic, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures.
- Align architecture with enterprise standards and balance time-to-market, cost, security, and long-term maintainability.
- Partner with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams.
- Produce formal architecture artifacts and present them to senior leadership.
- Lead architecture reviews and influence engineering direction.
