Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Have 5 or more years of SAP HANA development experience.
- Have strong hands-on expertise with calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, and SQLScript.
- Understand HANA architecture, including in-memory storage, columnar processing, and parallel execution.
- Have hands-on experience with HANA performance-tuning tools and methodologies.
- Have experience with HANA replication tools, including SLT, SDI, and SDA.
- Have working knowledge of HANA security models, including analytic privileges and roles.
- Be familiar with S/4HANA embedded analytics or BW/4HANA modeling.
- Have strong SQL skills.
- Have SAP-certified HANA modeling or development credentials (preferred).
- Have experience with HANA Native Storage Extension or dynamic tiering (preferred).
- Have exposure to HANA Cloud, SAP Datasphere, or BTP-based analytics tooling such as SAC (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design HANA-native data models and analytical objects for S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and standalone HANA platforms.
- Build and optimize HANA models to meet business and analytics requirements.
- Translate complex business and analytics requirements into performant HANA models.
- Diagnose HANA performance issues across the SAP landscape.
- Resolve HANA performance issues across the SAP landscape.
