Requirements
- Bring 15+ years of progressive enterprise infrastructure experience.
- Have 7+ years leading multidisciplinary infrastructure teams at director level or above.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Bring deep hands-on and architectural expertise in at least one major cloud platform, preferably AWS and/or GCP, and experience with multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
- Have a strong enterprise networking background and experience engineering and operating security infrastructure with a security organization.
- Have experience operating infrastructure in a regulated industry such as medical devices, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or financial services.
- Have working knowledge of FDA regulations, including 21 CFR Part 11 and 21 CFR Part 820, and frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF.
- Have led large-scale transformation programs such as cloud migration, data center consolidation, or network modernization.
- Have owned significant budgets and managed strategic technology, cloud, telecom, and managed service vendors.
- Demonstrate executive communication and influencing skills, including translating technical risk, resilience, and investment into business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a multi-year enterprise infrastructure strategy and roadmap aligned with business, clinical, data, and AI objectives.
- Build and develop infrastructure teams across cloud, network, operations, end-user services, and managed service partners.
- Own multi-cloud strategy and lead cloud platform engineering, infrastructure automation, FinOps, and workload modernization.
- Oversee enterprise network architecture and secure connectivity across offices, clinical sites, manufacturing facilities, data centers, and cloud environments.
- Manage data centers, compute, storage, backup, virtualization, hardware lifecycle, and end-user computing.
- Implement and operate infrastructure security controls in partnership with the CISO organization.
- Ensure infrastructure compliance, audit readiness, validation support, and protection of patient health information.
- Own infrastructure business continuity, disaster recovery, observability, ITSM processes, and service reliability.
- Manage infrastructure budgets and strategic vendor, cloud provider, telecom, and managed service relationships.
