Requirements
- Have 7+ years of total experience as a Data Engineer.
- Have 5+ years of hands-on experience on the AWS Platform.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Have a proven track record designing, deploying, and maintaining automated document and data ingestion pipelines.
- Have experience with OCR technology, specifically AWS Textract, for complex document processing.
- Have hands-on AWS S3 experience, including bucket strategies, storage policies, and security.
- Have hands-on AWS Step Functions experience, including workflow orchestration and state machines.
- Have hands-on AWS CloudWatch experience, including metrics, logging, and alarm orchestration.
- Have professional working proficiency in English, written and verbal.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize end-to-end document data ingestion pipelines.
- Implement and refine OCR extraction solutions using AWS Textract for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured documents.
- Design automated pipeline workflows using AWS Step Functions.
- Manage cloud storage and lifecycle rules via AWS S3.
- Write Python scripts and SQL queries to parse, clean, validate, and transform incoming data.
- Set up automated alerts, performance monitoring, logging, and error handling using AWS CloudWatch.
- Partner with client engineering teams in an agile environment.
