Requirements
- Have at least 5 years of Data Engineering experience.
- Have very good knowledge of Python.
- Have very good knowledge of SQL.
- Have experience with Azure SQL.
- Have practical experience with Azure and GCP.
- Have experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouses.
- Know orchestration tools such as Prefect, Airflow, or Azure Data Factory.
- Have experience with dbt or similar data transformation tools.
- Have experience with CI/CD and automated testing.
- Know OLTP/OLAP data modeling.
- Have experience with structured and semi-structured data.
- Know SQL databases and have exposure to NoSQL technologies.
- Have experience working in an Agile environment.
- Have English proficiency at a minimum B2+ level.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products.
- Develop solutions using Python, SQL, Snowflake, Azure, and GCP.
- Build integrations to support migration from on-premises systems to the cloud.
- Work with exposure and loss data used in risk modeling.
- Integrate model outputs through APIs and integration layers.
- Ensure data quality, validation, lineage, and monitoring.
- Optimize data-processing performance and costs.
- Apply CI/CD, DevOps, and automated testing practices; participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Owners, and business stakeholders.
- Create technical documentation and operational runbooks, and support continuity of critical processes through migration and transition to BAU.
