Requirements
- Have solid commercial experience in data engineering.
- Bring hands-on Databricks expertise.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python for automation and data transformation.
- Have commercial experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Have an advanced command of English and Polish.
- Nice to have: Understand SQL, including query optimization and data modeling.
- Nice to have: Be familiar with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
- Nice to have: Have experience with Kafka or Spark Streaming.
- Nice to have: Know cloud storage solutions such as Data Lake, Snowflake, or Synapse.
- Nice to have: Have hands-on PySpark experience for distributed data processing.
- Nice to have: Hold relevant Databricks or cloud-based data certifications.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data-processing solutions using Databricks for large-scale and diverse datasets.
- Design, build, and enhance data pipelines with Python and cloud-native tools.
- Work closely with solution architects to define and uphold data-engineering best practices.
- Ensure data consistency, security, and scalability in cloud-based environments.
