Requirements
- At least 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Deep experience building modern frontends in React.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of analyzing complex issues and implementing efficient solutions.
- Business acumen, including project and stakeholder management expertise.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver software solutions using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript, and establish architectural patterns for the team.
- Build, integrate, and own backend services, APIs, business logic, and data flows.
- Lead technical planning, architecture discussions, and solution design for significant features and initiatives.
- Lead code reviews and uphold engineering standards, providing feedback to help other engineers grow.
- Own application performance, reliability, accessibility, and maintainability, and resolve complex issues.
- Drive automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices and the quality assurance process.
- Work across third-party integrations, analytics, feature flagging, payment systems, CMS platforms, and cloud environments; improve CI/CD and release management.
- Mentor less-experienced engineers and partner with QA and engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for future development and knowledge sharing.
