Requirements
- Fluent English communication.
- Solid knowledge of Linux systems administration, including installation, configuration, hardening, patching, updates, and monitoring.
- Experience with Linux performance tuning and resource optimization.
- Solid knowledge of Kubernetes environments (K8s and/or K3s), including configuration, management, and day-to-day operations.
- Understanding of infrastructure security concepts, including working within a default deny security model.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, ports, routing, DNS, and TLS/certificates.
- Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and automation concepts.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts; GitLab CI/CD experience is a plus.
- Willingness to learn IBM i / AS400 basic administration.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot operational issues; familiarity with enterprise environments, ERP systems, Azure / Entra ID, or Kubernetes security concepts is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux-based infrastructure.
- Install and configure Linux systems.
- Harden and patch Linux systems and apply updates.
- Monitor systems and tune performance and resource use.
- Configure, manage, and operate Kubernetes environments using K8s and/or K3s.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges in production environments.
- Collaborate on system and cluster design.
- Develop knowledge of IBM i / AS400 basic administration.
- Collaborate with ERP and Security teams.
