Requirements
- Have experience administering Linux environments.
- Have hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Have knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Have experience with a public cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Have experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Have strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Have experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Kafka, Redis, Cassandra, or similar technologies.
- Understand CI/CD processes and deployment automation.
- Have experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, InfluxDB, Telegraf, or Alloy.
- Have experience with Helm and Kubernetes Operators.
- Have Bash and Python scripting skills.
- Have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Have very good English and Polish.
- Be willing to travel to Oman for customer implementations, with trips lasting up to 2–3 weeks when required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, delivery, and product teams to support deployments and customer projects.
- Install, configure, and maintain cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
- Deploy and manage containerized environments.
- Configure and maintain Linux-based systems and services.
- Install, upgrade, and patch software in internal and customer environments.
- Configure application endpoints, integrations, and external interfaces.
- Manage and monitor PostgreSQL, MySQL, Kafka, Redis, Cassandra, and related components.
- Monitor infrastructure health, system performance, and capacity utilization.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, database, and integration issues.
- Support software package creation, Docker images, and deployment pipelines.
- Conduct security scans and vulnerability assessments.
- Participate in disaster recovery, failover, and service restoration activities.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide technical workshops when required.
