Requirements
- Have hands-on experience applying data science and AI through work, internships, research, or projects.
- Have a strong interest in real-world applications of data science and AI.
- Be comfortable designing experiments, analyzing results, and drawing sound conclusions from data.
- Be comfortable working on complex problems that combine research with practical constraints.
- Be autonomous, rigorous, curious, and comfortable working in an iterative environment.
- Be able to own a piece of work from start to finish with guidance from senior team members.
- Interest or experience in healthcare or other complex, regulated industries is a bonus.
- Experience with AI engineering and software development best practices is a bonus.
- Experience in fintech is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Design, integrate, train, and optimize machine learning or generative AI models to meet client needs.
- Perform feature engineering and evaluate model performance.
- Explore client data to identify patterns and opportunities.
- Clean and structure data in collaboration with data engineers.
- Present results and explain models to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay current on advances in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Document approaches and results to support traceability and knowledge transfer.
