Requirements
- Bring 10+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar at a software or hardware product company.
- Have an engineering background, such as a CS/EE or similar degree, or prior hands-on engineering experience.
- Be able to follow architecture discussions and pressure-test estimates.
- Have a track record of running multi-team programs end to end, including a program you can describe from kickoff to launch.
- Have excellent written communication skills for coordination in a small, fast-moving, largely asynchronous team.
- Health, medical, or other regulated-domain experience is preferred, including telehealth, medical devices, diagnostics, or products handling health data.
- PMI-ACP, PMP, or equivalent formal program management training is preferred.
- Experience applying large-company program rigor at a smaller company is preferred.
- Experience with programs spanning hardware and software, such as devices, wearables, lab, or logistics integrations, is preferred.
- Startup experience and comfort building a program management function from scratch are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own cross-functional programs spanning engineering, product, and operations from kickoff through launch.
- Turn ambiguous initiatives into plans with milestones, owners, dependencies, and risks.
- Maintain program plans as circumstances change.
- Communicate status, escalate risks early, and maintain decision logs for leadership.
- Coordinate privacy, security, and compliance reviews for launches involving personal health data.
- Manage timelines and deliverables with external partners, including labs, pharmacies, wearables, and payments partners.
- Improve intake, prioritization, and release coordination without adding bureaucracy.
