Have solid experience as a QA Engineer, Quality Engineer, or in a similar role in software development and agile environments.
Have strong experience in requirements analysis and test design.
Be able to interpret PRDs, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, Figma designs, and technical documentation.
Have practical knowledge of BDD and Gherkin, including Features, Scenarios, Scenario Outlines, and Given/When/Then structures.
Have hands-on experience automating UI and API tests.
Know REST APIs, including HTTP methods, status codes, headers, payloads, authentication, and contracts.
Understand automation framework architecture and principles including abstraction, reusability, maintainability, and separation of responsibilities.
Have experience with Git, pull requests, branching strategies, and code reviews.
Have experience using databases and SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
Have experience integrating and executing automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.
Know Smoke, Sanity, and Regression testing strategies and how to prioritize validation based on risk.
Understand distributed systems, APIs, integrations, and microservices sufficiently to identify risks and define validation strategies.
Be able to interpret logs and use observability tools for troubleshooting.

Analyze requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, designs, and technical documentation to identify risks and quality gaps.
Translate product and business requirements into prioritized, traceable test strategies and scenarios.
Define risk-based approaches for manual testing, automation, and hybrid validation.
Develop, maintain, and evolve automated UI and API tests for critical workflows.
Contribute to automation framework architecture, engineering standards, and code reviews.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor execution results.
Investigate flaky tests, automation failures, and production issues using logs, metrics, and observability tools.
Validate deployments, feature flags, integrations, configurations, and dependencies.
Monitor quality and engineering metrics and contribute to continuous improvement.
Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with junior and mid-level QA professionals.
