Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have 8–12+ years of experience in product management, digital health, healthcare technology, interoperability, or related disciplines.
  • Have 5+ years of experience implementing, improving, or supporting Epic EMR workflows.
  • Demonstrate success leading complex product strategies and cross-functional initiatives with enterprise-wide impact.
  • Bring significant experience with healthcare interoperability, clinical workflows, and scalable EMR integrations.
  • Have a deep understanding of HL7, FHIR, APIs, and EMR integration approaches.
  • Demonstrate advanced product management expertise in strategy, portfolio planning, prioritization, discovery, delivery, and outcome measurement.
  • Translate customer, clinical, business, and technical requirements into scalable product solutions.
  • Bring stakeholder management, executive communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Influence without formal authority and align teams across complex organizations.
  • Demonstrate strategic and analytical judgment, commercial awareness, and business judgment.
  • Bring leadership, mentoring, and coaching capabilities.
  • Work effectively in a hands-on role involving extended computer use, written and verbal communication, and occasional travel to off-site meetings or training.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive multi-year product strategy for customer-facing EMR integrations, with a primary focus on Epic.
  • Set product priorities and investment recommendations by balancing customer needs, business objectives, technical feasibility, regulatory considerations, and platform value.
  • Lead roadmap planning for integration, workflow, interoperability, and customer experience capabilities.
  • Build data-driven business cases and communicate priorities, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Partner with strategic customers, clinicians, and health systems to understand needs and shape product direction.
  • Guide interoperability priorities involving HL7, FHIR, APIs, discrete data exchange, and clinical workflows.
  • Align Product, Engineering, Clinical, Commercial, Operations, and Customer Success teams around priorities and execution.
  • Define success metrics and use quantitative and qualitative insights to evaluate adoption, workflow utilization, customer experience, efficiency, and business performance.
  • Mentor Product Managers and cross-functional partners in product strategy, discovery, roadmapping, prioritization, delivery, and outcome measurement.
