Requirements
- Have operated at Director level or above.
- Have built or scaled a data function in an early-stage new market, product line, or business.
- Move comfortably between data metrics and architecture, customer strategy, commercial outcomes, and product-market fit.
- Have built or owned measurement used to set goals, run experiments, and improve a business.
- Have experience leading company-wide or division-wide goal-setting, defining metrics, and setting targets.
- Have partnered closely with Finance on goal-setting.
- Have experience changing organizational decision-making and collaborating across business areas.
- Have led full-stack Data teams of individual contributors and managers.
- Be comfortable representing Data to ExCo and C-level peers.
- Have experience attracting, developing, and retaining talent.
Responsibilities
- Lead the EU Data team and shape product strategy as Monzo expands into new markets.
- Size market opportunities and identify products and segments with product-market fit.
- Set EU data strategy and build market foundations for events, metrics, experiments, and forecasts.
- Lead EU Expansion goal-setting, including metric selection and target setting with Finance.
- Represent Data at ExCo and shape EU strategy through metrics and analytical reasoning.
- Drive collaboration across business areas and identify high-leverage connections.
- Build, grow, and retain a high-performing full-stack Data team.
- Develop future Data leaders and model an inclusive, high-craft Data culture.
